Watermark Engineering Ltd

Watermark Engineering Limited was formed in 1989 by Terry and Maureen Coughlan. Originally set up to offer maintenance and repair services to the commercial catering industry, the company soon moved into general light precision engineering, specialising in sheet metal fabrication in stainless steel. By 2004, the repair and maintenance business had evolved to become the market leader in the supply and service of Gaggia espresso coffee brewing equipment in Ireland and it was moved to a new building in the western suburbs of Dublin, allowing the engineering business the full run of the old Blackrock premises. Due to continued expansion, in 2005, the engineering business moved to a much larger building in a new development in Dublin 24. In 2007 the coffee machine end of the business was sold, allowing us to focus our attention on the engineering side. The coffee machine end retained the original name and the new engineering company was named Watermark Fabrications Limited, trading as Watermark Engineering. At our Airton Park facility we offer a full engineering design and production service, ranging from 3D solid modelling through full CADCAM on our cnc punching and high speed machining centres to a packaged finished product. A recent addition to our portfolio is a 250 ton hydro press to produce pressed parts up to 400mm x 800mm, using the Guerin process - a male punch and a polyurethane die. Watermark Engineering occupies a respected position in the Irish business world and can number many premier Irish companies and state bodies among its customers; including Eircom, BT, Dail Eireann and the Office of Public Works. We continue to manufacture a regular line of accessories for the coffee brewing business and work with architects in the provision of stainless accessories at all stages of building construction.
